Two (2) years of related experience. Ability to operate personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and word processing. Ability to use standard office equipment. Essential duties and responsibilities: Anticipates and schedules work needed at specific times of the year; establishes efficient procedures for tasks. Enters data from source documents into the computer following screen formats; keys and verifies results; sets up student numbers, course numbers, dates, directories, school parameters and codes. Compares entered data with source documents or re-enters data in verification format to detect errors. Compiles, sorts and verifies accuracy of data; corrects errors; deletes incorrect entries and re-enters correct data. Creates, verifies, requests, updates and maintains student records (academic achievement, grades, demographic, attendance, proof of address, etc.); corrects errors prior to processing. Maintains an accurate accountability of all records and files. Prints reports using database information, including attendance reports, class or personnel rosters, end‑of‑semester reports, or accounting reports. Registers new students or employees and issues computer numbers. Checks records/folders to verify documentation and placement. Organizes and prepares records to forward to campuses/departments timely. Prepares and submits reports as required by the Principal/Supervisor and submits them on time. Maintains all data for PEIMS current. Assists with testing, survey administration or other data collection procedures. Posts test results in a timely manner. Follows prescribed procedures in interpreting data and processes records efficiently. Promotes safety, health and comfort of students and employees in performing duties. Follows safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties. Maintains confidentiality. Exhibits high ethical behavior.
