Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract role supporting students from Pre-K through 6th grade in four self-contained classrooms. As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for school-based practice, you'll make a significant impact on young learners while collaborating closely with a dedicated team. This opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise, work 40 hours per week, and share your knowledge by guiding two SLPAs who help divide the caseload.

Your expertise in providing direct speech therapy services will support students’ communication and academic growth. While prior supervisory experience is appreciated, it's not required—this is an excellent opportunity for those interested in mentorship and leadership development. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC's) is essential, as is an active Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Qualifications:

• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP roles
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Supervisory experience a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working with students from Pre-K to 6th grade

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students within four self-contained classrooms
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and administration
• Supervise and support two SLPAs, sharing caseload responsibilities
• Participate in IEP meetings and help with goal development
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation
