Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Ensures efficient daily store functions, maintains safety and security standards, and drives sales performance. Key Responsibilities Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees; conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching. Ensure proper staffing, store opening/closing, and adherence to safety and security policies. Analyze operating statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage. Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and product presentation following company standards. Maintain accurate cash handling, security procedures, and store cleanliness. Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive shopping environment. Complete all required documentation and ensure employee compliance with policies. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures. Strong math skills and cash handling knowledge. Effective communication, interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of retail operations, inventory, and merchandising practices. Preferred management experience and high school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual skills may be advantageous. Physical & Work Environment: Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 55 lbs), and occasional climbing. Fast-paced environment with exposure to outside weather conditions.
