Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Fredericksburg, VA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum of 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience.
• NICU experience required. Candidate must demonstrate competency with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, intubation assistance, and mechanical ventilation skills.
• BLS certification required. ACLS and NRP preferred; NRP may be obtained after hire if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hamilton ventilators (Hamilton C1, V60, Hamilton MR1).
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
• Previous hospital experience in units caring for adults and neonatal intensive care.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Schedule includes 12-hour shifts with requirement to work every other weekend.
• Required uniform: all black scrubs.
