Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting student growth and development in a school-based setting! Enjoy a flexible schedule as a part-time physical therapist, dedicating just one day per week—4 to 6 hours—to help students thrive. While the current preference is Mondays, scheduling can be adjusted to fit your availability.
You’ll be responsible for delivering personalized therapy services to a caseload of 11 students, fostering their physical abilities while working in a collaborative, welcoming educational environment. Whether you prefer a Monday every week or another weekday, your expertise will be valued and your schedule respected.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a passion for supporting school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that align with students’ educational goals
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student success
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress, participation, and outcomes
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse needs and encourage student independence
