Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Location: Kearney, NE

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with the first to float. Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts every 6 weeks.

Job Description: Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in an acute care environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to emerging medical issues.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide effective patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• NIHSS certification.
• Telemetry training preferred but not mandatory.
