We are seeking a highly experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to support a premier hospital client’s growing cardiovascular program.This is a chance to be part of a dedicated team that thrives in high-acuity, high-impact situations supporting surgeons, patients, and one another through every critical moment.Position OverviewAs a CVOR Registered Nurse, you’ll provide expert, compassionate care in the operating room during open heart and complex cardiovascular procedures. Your role is integral to patient safety, surgical success, and positive outcomes. You’ll assist in pre-op preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and post-op recovery coordination ensuring every step is executed with precision and care.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care during open heart surgeries and other cardiovascular proceduresAssist the surgical team with instrumentation, sterile technique, and hemodynamic monitoringAnticipate the needs of the surgical team and support critical intraoperative decisionsCoordinate and maintain CVOR readiness, including supplies and surgical equipmentAdhere to best practices in infection control and patient safetyParticipate in on-call rotations and respond swiftly to emergency proceduresCollaborate with anesthesia, surgical staff, and cardiology teams to ensure optimal care deliveryMaintain accurate documentation of intraoperative activities and patient responsesQualificationsMinimum 1 year of CVOR/Open Heart RN experience in an acute care hospital RequiredActive Florida RN license or eligibility to obtain prior to start RequiredBSN preferredBLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-certified) RequiredCNOR certification preferredAbility to take on-call shifts as needed, including one weekday per week and one weekend per monthShift DetailsEvening ShiftOn-Call Requirement:One evening per weekOne weekend per monthAdditional on-call flexibility may be required based on department needsCompensation & IncentivesHourly Pay Range:$31.84 - $46.26 (Based on years of experience)On-Call Pay: $4.00/hrShift Differentials:Nights: +$4.50/hrWeekend: +$1.50/hrNational Certification: +$1.50/hr (e.g., CNOR)Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basisSign-On Bonus: Not guaranteed please inquire during interviewWhy Join Us?At Global Placement Firm, we specialize in placing experienced, compassionate professionals in impactful roles across the country.
