Field Service Technician

Field Service TechnicianThe Field Service Technician services Ranpak equipment, including preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting issues, and responding to customer/distributor complaints and requests.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Troubleshoots customer machine problems in person or over the phone to successful resolutionGenerates orders for required parts neededTravels as required to end users to perform serviceHandles and processes returned service partsPerforms preventative maintenance on machines as time allowsAssists distributors in installing new machines and machine upgradesSubmits activity reports and other required documentationOther duties as assignedQualifications include:One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceElectronics knowledgeAbility to read blueprints & schematicsAbility to use computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel)Even temperament with customers and coworkersGood verbal & written communication skillsLogical thinkingStrong mechanical aptitudeRanpak is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
