Worship Arts Adjunct Faculty AdministratorThe Worship Arts Adjunct Faculty Assistant/Administrator provides dual support to the Worship Arts Department by assisting with instruction of the Worship Live course and by managing key administrative functions of the department's touring, recording, and ensemble programs. This position works closely with the Chair of Worship Arts to ensure Worship Live students receive excellent classroom and applied instruction, while department initiatives are planned and executed with excellence, integrity, and attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesI. Worship Live Class AssistantAssist the Worship Live instructor in planning, preparing, and delivering course content, rehearsals, and lab sessionsSupport classroom and ensemble instruction in live worship performance practice, including vocal, instrumental, and technical (audio/visual) componentsProvide individualized and small-group coaching to Worship Live studentsTrack student attendance and participation, and assist with grading and assessment as directed by the course instructorAssist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of classroom, rehearsal, and lab technology and sound equipmentSupport ongoing development and updates of Worship Live curriculum and course materials in collaboration with the ChairServe as a substitute instructor for Worship Live sessions when approved by the ChairII. Administrative Services — Worship Live Tours & Choir TourCoordinate logistics for Worship Live Tours and the NCU Worship Live/ChoraleMaintain and reconcile tour budgets in coordination with the Chair, tracking expenses against approved departmental budget toolsServe as a liaison with host churches, venues, vendors, and travel agenciesPrepare and manage travel documentation for domestic and international tours, including permission forms, passports/visas, travel insurance, and emergency contact recordsMaintain tour rosters, packing lists, and safety/risk-management documentation for traveling studentsCommunicate itinerary details and updates to students, families, faculty, and university stakeholdersIII. Administrative Services — Recording Releases & WL Recording 2027Coordinate studio scheduling, session logistics, and production timelines for WL Recording 2027 and other department recording releasesServe as a communication liaison between engineers, musicians, producers, and outside vendorsTrack project deliverables, deadlines, and budget line items for recording projectsSupport release logistics, including metadata preparation, licensing documentation, and digital distribution coordinationMaintain organized digital archives of session files, mixes, and mastersIV. General Departmental AdministrationMaintain department calendars and scheduling related to Worship Live, tours, and recording projectsAssist with departmental correspondence, meeting notes, and reporting to the ChairSupport Excel-based budget tracking for department funds, tours, and recording projectsQualificationsMinimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree.Prior experience in collegiate or church-based worship ministry, contemporary worship band/ensemble leadership, or music instructionExperience with event, tour, or administrative coordination preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMaintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.Ability to communicate the mission and vision of North Central University to prospective student-athletes.Knowledge and ability of the use of technological resources including a wide variety of computer programs and applications.Ability to work well with a variety of diverse personalities and departments.Valid driver's license.Ability to pass a background check upon hire and periodically during employment.Working Conditions and Frequency: Environmental Conditions:Working environment involves work in an urban, Christ-centered university.Tools and Equipment:Position involves the use of multiple technologies including computer and its software.Use of standard office equipment.May require training and certification as needed.North Central University employs qualified individuals regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, marital status, genetic information, veteran status, familial status, and status with regard to public assistance.
