Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for Medsurg unit. Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions accurately.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, providers, and other team members.
• Read and interpret EKG strips and monitor data.
• Document patient information in electronic health records (EPIC).

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current unrestricted driver's license.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medsurg RN experience.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and vent management.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
