CHOP is looking for an Echosonographer II-SATS to start in July. Requisition # 35553662. Supplier Bill Rate: $110.

Location: CHOP Main Hospital, 3401 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104 or CHOP Specialty Care & Surgery Center, Exton, Oaklands Corporate Center, 481 John Young Way, Exton, PA 19341.

Start date: 07/07/2025. Length of Assignment: 13 weeks, or possibly longer.

Schedule Notes: Travelers accepted. Approximately 40 hours a week. Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5pm would be a better offering. Most of the time, we rotate shifts but can discuss that once they are on boarded.

Duties: This role performs various modalities of cardiac ultrasound including transthoracic echo, stress echo, and assistance in transesophageal echo. This role is also accountable for the preparation of preliminary interpretation reports, billing procedures, study transmittal and coverage of satellite sites. This role demonstrates advanced knowledge of pediatric echo and a higher level of ability, performance and competencies.

Skills: Advanced knowledge of the principles of ultrasound physics and instrumentation of ultrasound systems. Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology. Advanced knowledge of transthoracic echocardiography. Advanced proficiency in operation of ultrasound equipment and digital reporting software. Participation in national, international or original research studies. Ability to travel to multiple work locations.

Education: Required Education: High School Diploma/GED. Required Experience: Two (2) years of pediatric echocardiography experience. Preferred Experience: Five (5) years of pediatric echocardiography experience. Within 12 months of start date: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
