Harnham, the leading recruitment specialist in Data and AI, is partnering with a Databricks consulting organisation delivering enterprise‑scale GenAI solutions. They are hiring experienced Forward Deployed Engineers to build and deploy production‑ready AI systems for end clients.

• Role: Databricks GenAI Engineer
\n
• Location: Remote
\n
• Pay: $70 - $75 per hour W2
\n
• Length: 5 month contract (extendable)
\n
• Utilization: 40 hours/week
\n

The Role

\n

As a Databricks AI Engineer, you will deliver end‑to‑end GenAI solutions directly to enterprise clients. This is a highly hands‑on, delivery‑focused role, not traditional data science, focused on building, deploying, and scaling LLM and RAG applications on the Databricks platform.

\n

\n

You’ll work in a Databricks expert team internally within an enterprise environment building state of the art agentic solutions.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Deliver E2E GenAI solutions on Databricks
\n
• Build RAG and LLM‑based applications using enterprise data
\n
• Implement vector search and agentic workflows (LangChain, etc.)
\n
• Productionise AI systems using CI/CD, MLOps, and cloud pipelines
\n
• Work directly with clients to deploy and optimise AI solutions
\n

\n

\n

Requirements

\n

\n
• 5+ years in AI/ML engineering or data systems
\n
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Databricks (Spark, MLflow, Unity Catalog)
\n
• Proficiency in Python and tools such as LangChain, OpenAI, Hugging Face
\n
• Experience with Databricks AI Tools (Agent Bricks, GenieAI, MosaicAI)
\n
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.)
\n
• Strong cloud and CI/CD experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
\n
• Excellent communication skills for client‑facing delivery
\n
• Databricks certifications (ML Engineer, GenAI, Data Engineer)
\n
