Our organization is on the lookout for an outstanding physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation to take on the role of Medical Director for our CARF-accredited 39-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This position presents a remarkable leadership opportunity within a collaborative and high-quality rehabilitation program.

• Full-time Medical Director position

• Guaranteed salary of $307,613 for a two-year period

• Additional compensation for directorship and supervision

• $150,000 recruitment bonus

• Up to $15,000 for relocation assistance

• Four weeks of paid time off, six holidays, and one week for continuing medical education (CME)

• $6,000 allocated for CME expenses

• Comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice coverage with tail coverage

• Eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program

• Oversee a 39-bed CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit

• Conduct daily rounds with therapists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nursing staff

• Ensure clinical quality and monitor patient outcomes

• Collaborate closely with the hospitalist team

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

• Eligibility for an Iowa medical license

• Possession of state and federal prescriptive authority
