Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Center Solutions

Position Summary The Mechanical Engineer for Mission Critical Projects will design, coordinate, and implement mechanical systems for high-performance facilities, such as data centers, laboratories, clean rooms, and other critical infrastructures. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative HVAC and cooling solutions that meet rigorous reliability and redundancy standards. The Successful Candidate Will Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and clients as part of our integrated design approach. Utilize Revit to create and coordinate project documents. Conduct comprehensive mechanical/HVAC and plumbing/fire protection calculations, including code research. Prepare and review detailed specifications. Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy and compliance. Conduct site visits as necessary to ensure project standards are met. Lead mechanical project teams and/or interdisciplinary project collaborations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering. 10+ years of experience in a MEP or integrated design firm, focusing on commercial/public projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in complex environments. 5+ years of direct design experience with data centers. Demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering for complex projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Strong understanding of the design and construction processes, with the ability to work across disciplines. Experience with BIM workflows (e.g., Autodesk Revit MEP). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications Licensed Professional Engineer. LEED Accredited Professional with experience in LEED or other green rating system processes. Interest in and knowledge of sustainable building design. Compensation is based on location, experience, and skills, with a suggested pay range of $84,700 - $144,430 USD.
