Tech - MRI

Job Description

Job Summary:
The MRI Tech is responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce diagnostic images for medical assessment. They provide specialized imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment following established protocols and safety standards.
• Position patients accurately and assist with patient preparation to ensure optimal imaging results.
• Monitor patients during procedures and address any adverse reactions or discomfort.
• Maintain and perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment regularly.
• Document procedures, results, and patient information accurately in electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• Have at least 1 year of recent MRI imaging experience.
• Possess BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Philips MRI equipment.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
