Job Details Position: Sonographer at Missouri Baptist Medical Center Schedule: 10‑hour shifts, 4 days per week (Monday‑Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 (eligible applicants) Compensation: Potential 5% sonography differential on top of base rate for additional registries. Role Purpose The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging—including abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical studies—for adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assists with needle procedures (e.g., biopsies, drainages, needle placements). May also perform vascular imaging. Responsibilities Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment. Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures. Performs studies independently; may perform studies on call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area. Minimum Requirements Education: Associate or Trade School equivalent. Experience: No experience required. Supervisor Experience: No experience required. Preferred Requirements Experience: (none listed). Licenses & Certifications Required: RDMS or equivalent. Preferred: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / RDCS or equivalent.
