About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: RN - Tele Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required - Basic Life Support (BLS), or equivalent certification required - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan and coordinates care delivery. Employs strategies to promote health and maintain a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or their situation. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing care in a safe and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provides health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates the duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients by adhering to vaccination requirements, where applicable.
