(Final eligibility and award decisions are determined by the Nurse Corps program.)Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in our outpatient clinical setting. This role emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, and continuity of care in partnership with providers and care team members.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care in support of primary care servicesAdminister immunizations, medications, and treatments per protocolPerform triage, patient assessments, and follow-up careEducate patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and wellnessCollaborate with providers, care coordinators, and support staffDocument care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)Support quality improvement and population health initiativesQualificationsCurrent RN license in SD (or ability to obtain)Associate or Bachelor's degree in NursingCPR/BLS certificationPrior clinic, primary care, or community health experience preferredStrong communication, organization, and patient education skillsCommitment to serving diverse and underserved populationsOur nurses choose us for:Balance over burnoutPredictable schedulesA supportive, non-corporate environmentThe ability to build real patient relationshipsMeaningful work that aligns with their values
