Altamont, IL Pay: Up to $18.50/hour Full-Time | 1st Shift Weekly Pay

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to manufacture seating components and related products
• Set up and adjust machines for production runs according to specifications and schedules
• Monitor equipment performance and identify quality issues, defects, or machine malfunctions
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, inspections, and cleaning to ensure reliable machine operation
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
• Use tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions, tolerances, and product quality
• Work with sheet metal materials throughout the production process
• Load and unload materials while supporting overall production flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals
• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards

• Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Minimum of 1 year of machine setup experience
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and production drawings
• Experience working with sheet metal materials
• Knowledge of general production and manufacturing processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Experience operating punch presses or similar production equipment
• Manufacturing experience in seating, metal fabrication, or related industries
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Altamont, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
