Position Security Officer Patrol Access Officer Location Columbus, OH Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $17.42 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter access points. Monitor entry and exit activity involving employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting access control procedures for the location. Observe operational activity across the distribution environment and report unusual conditions, damaged barriers, unsecured doors, and/or other security-related concerns according to site protocols. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
