ARMED SECURITY OFFICER

Now Hiring – Full-Time & Part-Time Unarmed Security Officers

Excelsior Defense is expanding and seeking professional, dependable, and customer service-oriented Unarmed Security Officers for a new 24/7 corporate security assignment beginning June 8th in the Alachua area.

We are hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time officers to support a premier commercial property environment. Officers will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming atmosphere for tenants, staff, and visitors.

Pay Rate

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

Multiple shifts available

Full-Time & Part-Time openings

Site operates 24 hours per day / 7 days per week

Weekend and holiday availability may be required

Responsibilities

• Professional access control and visitor management
• Interior and exterior patrols (foot and vehicle patrols)
• CCTV and alarm monitoring
• Incident detection, response, and detailed reporting
• Customer service-focused interaction with tenants, staff, and visitors
• Enforcing property rules and safety procedures
• Maintaining a visible and professional security presence

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Security D License required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to write clear and accurate incident reports
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Prior corporate, office building, or customer-facing security experience preferred
