Urgent Care Physician physician employment in Connecticut :

A Connecticut-based health services network is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing team. This role provides flexible coverage across multiple urgent care sites and is well-suited for providers comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Flexible, with weekend coverage as the main priority; weekday availability, especially Mondays and Fridays, is also encouraged
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Urgent Care

Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent care services to patients across multiple Connecticut locations
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, and splinting
• Interpret basic diagnostic tests such as X-rays and EKGs
• Work independently while maintaining flexibility for same-day schedule adjustments and split-site coverage

Qualifications:

• Active CT license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Board Eligible / Certified
• Current BLS certification
• DEA registration with state coverage
• Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
• Ability to manage an average of patient volume on a 12-hour shift

Desired Skills:

• Experience with pediatric patients of all ages
• Comfort with drawing blood and performing point-of-care procedures
• Experience working in a multi-site urgent care environment
• Ability to travel between sites within the surrounding region

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
