Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans that align with clients’ unique needs and goals. \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy. \n
- Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, fostering a safe environment that encourages open dialogue and healing. \n
- Document all client interactions and progress accurately and in compliance with legal and ethical standards, employing EMR systems effectively. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, participating in regular case reviews and strategy meetings to enhance client outcomes. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of best practices in mental health therapy and emerging research. \n
Your clients will primarily include individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Many of them come from underserved communities where access to mental health support is limited. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, reflecting a robust educational foundation in mental health. \n
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington. \n
- A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or telehealth setting. \n
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the field of mental health. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients. \n
- Demonstrated experience in collaborative team settings, showcasing your ability to work effectively alongside other healthcare professionals. \n
