We are seeking a creative, compassionate, and dedicated Activities Director to lead and implement engaging recreational programs for our residents at [Nursing Home Name]. Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily recreational and therapeutic activities for residents
• Develop activity programs that cater to the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of residents
• Supervise and train activity staff, ensuring effective implementation of programs
• Encourage resident participation and foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident progress
• Work closely with other departments, including nursing and social services, to ensure the overall well-being of residents
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility requirements

Qualifications

• Must be certified as an Activities Director in New Jersey (or in the process of obtaining certification)
• Previous experience in long-term care or a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
