Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 8-bed LDRP unit following AWHONN staffing standards
• Monitor and assess laboring patients, including fetal monitoring in accordance with Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification requirements
• Care for GYN patients in addition to Labor & Delivery patients as unit needs dictate
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Float as helping hands to support unit staffing needs as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (or higher)
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• LDRP experience strongly preferred
• Experience caring for GYN patient populations
• Easygoing, committed, and positive professional demeanor
