Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in medical surgical with telemetry at a healthcare organization located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The position involves providing patient care in a Level Trauma 3 community hospital with 171 beds, serving adult and geriatric patient populations. The role requires adaptability to rotating shifts and provides opportunities for both clinical and operational growth.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 3x12s weekly, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 2 years recent acute care experience in telemetry; recent experience handling a 6-patient ratio; ability to float to other units such as Intensive Care and Emergency Department; certificaitons including ACLS; nursing degree (RN); location in US; minimum 2 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Preceptor and charge nurse experience; experience with total joint, surgical, acute on chronic medical conditions such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, gastrointestinal bleeding; compassionate, positive, and proactive attitude
• Additional Information: No block schedule requests; orientation conducted weekly; unit equipped with Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicel medication dispensing system, Zoll defibrillators; electronic health record system is Medhost; responsibilities include caring for adult/geriatric patients with various medical conditions, including post-surgical and trauma cases. Floating to other units such as Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED) is expected.
