Power BI Enterprise Reporting Specialist – Maximo / Facilities Data – NASA

Altech Solutions is hiring a Power BI Enterprise Reporting Specialist to run the enterprise reporting platform for NASA's facilities and real estate organization. This is an on-site role at the NASA center nearest you. (Huntsville, AL; Hampton, VA; Houston, TX; Cleveland, OH; Titusville, FL; Greenbelt, MD; and Mountain View, CA)

Pay and Benefits:

What you'll do:

You will own the Power BI reporting platform that NASA's Office of Strategic Infrastructure, Facilities and Real Estate Division, uses to track facilities maintenance and real estate across the agency. You'll build reports, dashboards, and KPIs on top of Maximo/MAS data, join disparate datasets into something useful, and keep the data models fast and clean. You'll also run the platform: manage the Power BI Data Gateway for on-premises data, control who sees what through row- and column-level security, and handle upgrades, patches, and performance tuning. You'll work directly with facilities stakeholders to turn their questions into reports, train end users, and keep the documentation and SOPs current.

What we need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 6+ years of Power BI reporting and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) reporting

• Strong Power BI data modeling, DAX, and publishing workflows

• Hands-on Power BI Data Gateway management for on-premises data sources

• Row- and column-level security (RLS/CLS) and role-based access control

• SQL, plus scripting (Python a plus) to map and join siloed datasets

• Comfortable on Windows and Linux, with strong troubleshooting skills

• Clear communicator who can gather requirements from non-technical users and train them

Nice to have:

Maximo 7.6 or MAS 9 reporting and knowledge of Maximo database tables; Tabular Editor; Tableau; SQL Developer; Power BI, Azure, Maximo/MAS, or ITIL certifications.

• US citizenship is required. This is a federal contract. Non-citizens, including green card holders and visa holders, are not eligible. Please do not apply if you are not a US citizen.

• Public Trust. You must be able to obtain a Public Trust. A current Public Trust is a plus.

• Location. You must already live within 50 miles of a NASA center: Ames (Moffett Field, CA), Armstrong (Edwards, CA), Glenn (Cleveland, OH), Goddard (Greenbelt, MD), Johnson (Houston, TX), Kennedy (FL), Langley (Hampton, VA), Marshall (Huntsville, AL), Stennis (MS). This role is on site. We are not offering relocation.
