Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend applications using Python frameworks
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams on project deliverables
• Develop database schemas and optimize complex queries across multiple database systems
• Integrate third-party APIs and cloud services to enhance application functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system reliability
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Ensure application security, reliability, and performance optimization
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical design discussions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience
• Strong experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture patterns
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Proficiency with Git version control and Agile development methodologies
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Preferred: Experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
