Job Title: Engineer, I-Sr Lead (Nuc)-RBS Civil/Structural DesignWork Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Operations, Inc.-EOI *This position may be filled as an Engineer I, Engineer II, Engineer III, Engineer Senior OR Engineer Senior Lead based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. *Job Summary/PurposeDesign Engineering is the design authority and owner of the design bases. The organization focuses on the design of baseline modifications and design basis control and maintenance. Design integrity is maintained through effective configuration control of design output documents (i.e., specifications, calculations, drawings, test requirements, and procedures).Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesMaintain the design basis for each site and support maintenance of the licensing basis.Provide cost-effective modification designs when required to improve plant, system or equipment performance.Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, engineering, and other site organizations.Support safe, reliable operation by identifying and effectively resolving issues via the corrective action and work management processes.Develop engineering products in accordance with defined standards and procedures.Serve on outage engineering support teams if necessary. Attend training and maintain qualifications necessary to perform required group functions. Act as design authority for the site.Minimum RequirementsMinimum education required of the positionB.S. Degree in Engineering, B.S.
