Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Yes Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: 2 years RN experience Description: Unit Notes: ER Registered Nurse 36 hour guaranteed per week ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required 30 private ER rooms, including a six-room observation unit 6 fast track beds with a Physician Assistant for minor non-urgent issues 1 seclusion room plus an additional 5 monitored rooms Level IV Trauma Center Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 Average of 100 patients seen per day Support staff includes 5 technicians during peak hours Common patient types include trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases Electronic Medical Record system: Allscripts - Sunrise Medication system: Omnicell Scrub color: any color except all black Scrubs not provided Cancellation policy: 3 per 13 weeks Charting system: Allscripts BSN not required
