Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk OB patients including magnesium sulfate patients and C-section patients managed on the unit
• Perform independent patient exams and full assessments in accordance with unit protocols
• Chart and document patient information across two EMR systems (Meditech and GE)
• Operate within AWHONN staffing ratios and collaborate with scrub techs, charge nurses, and unit leaders
• Float to OB or nursery as needed for task-based support without assuming a patient assignment
• Deliver a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current ACLS and NRP certifications
• High-risk OB experience required
• Flu vaccine required – no exceptions or exemptions
• Ability to work every third weekend (3 weekend shifts per 4-week period)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RNC (Inpatient Obstetric Nursing) certification preferred
• Experience charting in Meditech and/or GE clinical systems
• Strong customer service orientation with experience in fast-paced, high-acuity labor and delivery settings
