Hiring Department Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Job Description This is a dual posting with job ID 59919. One opening available. This position provides patient care within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. The role involves close collaboration with PM&R physicians in a high-volume clinical setting serving patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and amputations. Key Responsibilities Evaluating, managing, and treating PM&R patients following discharge from acute and post-acute care hospitalizations. Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop treatment goals and care plans, while coordinating services and treatments to support successful patient outcomes. Serving as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals by addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication related to patient care services. Providing inpatient care and follow-up in partnership with collaborating physicians. Participating in research studies and clinical trials as applicable to departmental initiatives and approved study protocols. Shift Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications Physician Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
