Overview Registered Nurse, ER, Clinton, IL, United States, starting 09/03/2026 for an eight-week travel assignment. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor patient responses and document changes. Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and support staff to deliver timely, safe care; assist with procedures as needed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic record; communicate effectively during handoffs. Prepare patients for examination and procedures; assist with wound care, splinting, and other routine ED interventions as appropriate. Support patient and family education and discharge planning to promote continuity of care after the encounter. Requirements Licensed in the State of Illinois as EMT or Paramedic, or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program. High school diploma or equivalent. BLS certification. May be required to lift 50 lbs.; ability to stand and walk for long periods; potential exposure to communicable diseases. Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, dynamic environment with a need for rapid prioritization and teamwork.
