Key Qualifications:

• Valid California credential in Moderate/Severe (ESN) Special Education (current and active)
• Experience working with elementary students in a Special Day Class is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Skilled in collaborating with families, related service providers, and educational staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

What You’ll Do:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe disabilities in an elementary SDC setting
• Design and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs in alignment with IEP goals
• Create and maintain a supportive, engaging classroom environment that fosters both academic and social-emotional growth
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, making instructional adjustments as needed
• Collaborate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
