Job Description Estimator Location: Bedford. Salary: £50,000–£60,000. It is known for stability, a supportive culture and long‑term progression. The Role Senior Estimator – manage a team of three Estimators. This role suits someone confident in leading people, improving processes and helping shape a growing department. The focus is on accuracy, consistency and developing a streamlined estimating function that supports long‑term business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of three Estimators Oversee all estimating activity across specialist security products and installation services Review tender documents, drawings and specifications Produce and approve detailed cost estimates and pricing schedules Ensure accuracy and consistency across all submissions Develop and improve estimating processes and departmental structure Work closely with Sales, Project Management and Production teams Support senior management with planning and departmental development Required Skills and Experience Experienced Estimator with a strong background in construction (all construction sectors considered including subcontracting, contracting, manufacturing, roofing, M&E, flooring) Proven management or team‑lead experience Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Proficient with estimation software such as Bluebeam or PlanSwift and confident using Excel Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software (beneficial) Organised, proactive and able to support continuous improvement Why Join Them Lead an experienced team within a stable and well‑established business.
