Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Our client, Logistics & Supply Chain is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations department supporting the Distribution team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, clear communication, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $21
Shift: Wednesday - Sunday (4am-9am Wed- Fri 6am-10am Sat & Sun)
What's the Job?
- Complete all tasks accurately and completely to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Sort freight and load trucks according to route sequence.
- Unload trailers, sort freight, and load delivery trucks according to route sequence.
- Ensure product is in the correct location and notify your supervisor of any obstacles.
- Stack product neatly and safely in the warehouse and on the delivery truck, following Standard Operating Procedures.
What's Needed?
- Composite toe shoes required.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment/merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds.
- Ability to speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday (or Saturday varies by location), with some weekends and holidays required based on business needs; flexible schedules are available.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
