Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:15 AM – 5:00 PM) | Expected 40 hours/week | No call requirement | No weekend requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to pediatric patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Treat a variety of conditions including balance and coordination disorders, genetic and neuromuscular disorders, gross motor incoordination, in-toeing, orthopedic injuries, toe walking, torticollis, and scoliosis
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• May be required to float to other departments in the event of low census in the home department
• Complete required orientation modules and annual compliance training (non-billable, self-reported)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Physical Therapist license required
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Experience in an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting required
• Proof of flu vaccination required; exemption requests must be submitted within 48 hours of contract signing
• Supervisor-level references required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience treating pediatric conditions such as torticollis, scoliosis, and neuromuscular disorders
• Familiarity with pediatric gross motor development and orthopedic rehabilitation
• Strong communication and documentation skills in a clinical outpatient environment
