Recreational Program Coordinator (Willington)

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Recreation Coordinator to join our Lawnbowling community for the summer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing recreational activities and events that promote community engagement and well‑being. This role offers an opportunity to positively impact residents by creating enjoyable and inclusive recreational experiences. The Recreation Coordinator will work closely with participants of all ages, fostering a fun, safe, and educational environment. Responsibilities Available for 9 weeks of employment beginning June 22, 2026 Develop and implement a variety of recreational programs, activities, and events tailored to community needs. Coordinate schedules for sports leagues, social play, and special events. Manage program logistics, including registration, equipment setup, and facility reservations. Promote programs through various communication channels to maximize participation. Monitor participant safety and enforce facility rules to maintain a secure environment. Collect feedback from participants to improve future programming and ensure high‑quality experiences. Requirements Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple programs simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills for promoting programs and interacting with participants. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for program delivery or special events. A passion for community service and creating positive recreational experiences for residents.
