Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour; Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of strong OR experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Strong Ortho skills Description: Position requires OR RN with strong orthopedic skills. General surgery experience is a secondary requirement. Shifts available are 5x8, with various start times. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. Weekend requirements are as needed. On-call may be required, but only as needed. Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs. The schedule can accommodate block scheduling. Locals are accepted for this position. No more than five days off will be allowed during the contract period. Candidates should be prepared for potential cancellations of shifts. Experience with Epic charting is required. Interdisciplinary support will be available. Patient diagnoses include general, gynecological, urology, robotics, neuro, spine, ENT, and orthopedic cases. Required skills include a range of surgical procedures listed in the requirements.
