Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and experienced Cooks to join a busy food service team in Garrison, NY. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking meals for approximately 135–150 residents and staff, while maintaining high standards for food quality, safety, and sanitation.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, can follow established recipes, and understands the importance of accommodating dietary restrictions and special meal requirements.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and recipes
• Ensure meals are prepared on schedule for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
• Follow portioning guidelines, dietary restrictions, and food service standards
• Wash, chop, portion, and prepare ingredients for daily meal production
• Prepare simple and complex menu items as assigned
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Assist with inventory organization, storage, and stock rotation
• Support kitchen cleanup, waste disposal, and general food service operations
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals consistently
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
• Experience working with dietary restrictions or special meal requirements is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment
• Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
