I. Purpose of PositionHealthWorks Medical, LLC is looking for a self-motivated and team-oriented Paramedic to join our Occupational Medicine team. The successful candidate will have a combination of critical care and occupational healthcare experience.II. Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide Emergency and Non-Emergency Medical CareProcess Medical Absences (return to work from short-term absence or medical leave)Open, extend and close medical leavesConduct Medical and Fitness for Duty ExaminationsSchedule appointments for examinationsMaintain clinic supplies for treatment and preventative measures in the workplacePerform injections, blood draws, and obtain patient vital signsPerform Urine Drug Screenings and Breath Alcohol TestingConduct Audiometric TestingConduct Pulmonary Function TestingConduct Respirator Fit TestingCollaborates with other health care providers and Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needsOther Duties as RequiredIII. Knowledge & Experience * Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)Occupational Health Care Experience (preferred)Critical Care Experience (preferred)Knowledge of Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, and Retention of Confidential Medical Records.Knowledge of OSHA Regulations concerning Environmental Health and Safety.ACLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.NREMT Licensure (KY State EMT-P Licensure Required)IV.
