Job DescriptionPerforms transplant surgery, laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy, inpatient & ambulatory patient management, & inpatient transplant consultations. QualificationsM.D. or D.O. degreeSuccessful completion of a fellowship in Transplant Surgery Must hold an active medical license for each state in which the physician practices – either physically or virtually. Must have a DEA for each state in which the physician physically practices. Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada). If physician is not board certified upon commencement of employment, they must achieve board certification as outlined in the privileging documents. Privileging documents and related credentialing requirements will supersede this job description in defining minimum qualifications, criteria, and scope of practice, if variation between documents exists.
