HOURS: Wednesday-Friday 11am-7pm and Saturday-Sunday 9am-5pm

About the Role:

The Concierge/Weekend Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for guests and visitors during weekend hours. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and various departments. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact, addressing inquiries, coordinating services, and resolving issues promptly to enhance the overall guest experience. This role requires a proactive and personable individual who can multitask effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor. Ultimately, the Concierge/Weekend Receptionist contributes to the positive reputation and operational success of the organization by delivering outstanding service during peak weekend periods.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in hospitality or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with reservation and scheduling software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working as a concierge or in a hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of local area attractions, dining, and transportation options.
• Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.
• Certification in customer service or hospitality management.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and first aid.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns via phone, email, or in person.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area throughout the weekend shifts.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing reservations, and processing payments.
• Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols while monitoring access to the facility.

The required communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with guests, addressing their needs, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Strong organizational skills enable the receptionist to manage multiple tasks such as scheduling, check-ins, and administrative duties efficiently during busy weekend periods.
