Shift: Evening

Compensation Range: $47.67 - $56.74 per hour

Job Overview

The role involves delivering patient services utilizing diagnostic CT scan technology. The technologist is responsible for producing high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Additionally, the individual must provide excellent care by exercising sound judgment and discretion.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• New Jersey Radiology license
• ARRT Certification
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Prior experience in CT

Preferred:

• CT Certification

Scheduling Requirements

• Part-Time
• Evening Shift

Essential Functions

• Assist radiologists with specialized examinations
• Exhibit proficiency in using RIS and PACS
• Apply professional judgment and discretion during imaging procedures
• Ensure cleanliness in examination rooms and work areas
• Maintain CR cassettes and report any needing repair
• Keep stock levels adequate in all procedure rooms
• Conduct daily calibration and quality assurance checks as required
• Report equipment issues to the supervisor and submit an LT work order when necessary
• Utilize RadCode for billing related to specific procedures
• Implement radiation protection principles for both self and patients during examinations
• Ensure proper positioning and technical settings to achieve diagnostic-quality images
