Details 41-bed inpatient Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive/Respiratory Care unit Cares for medical and surgical patients with cardiac dysrhythmia, respiratory illness, and altered hemodynamics requiring telemetry monitoring 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week Night shift schedule, 7P-7A, 3 days per week Required to work holidays and weekends No special scheduling requirements Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) required BLS certification required ACLS and NIHSS certifications required per department compliance ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred No prior nursing experience required, though preferred Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices Additional Information Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination across admission, transfer, and discharge Deliver patient and family-centered education and individualized treatment planning Collaborate with the interprofessional care team and delegate tasks appropriately Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measure initiatives First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-729643.
