Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents and guests
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dietary department and resident dining areas
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement special events and activities
• Monitor and record food and supply inventory levels, and report any discrepancies to management
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the dining experience and improve patient satisfaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
