Job Summary:

Position Title: Registered Nurse - NICU

Location: Apple Valley 92307

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule: Day 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30) 36hr



Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU .
• Perform thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in clinical condition.
• dminister medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency medications safely and accurately.
• Manage and maintain PICC lines, central lines, UAC/UVC , and other vascular access devices.
• Operate and monitor neonatal respiratory support, including CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, ventilators, and oscillators .
• ssist with neonatal stabilization, resuscitation, and high-risk deliveries.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate and support parents and families regarding neonatal care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.



To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
• ctive California Registered Nurse (RN) License .
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience , including at least 1 year of recent Level III NICU experience (required) .
• Previous travel nursing experience .
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• PALS certification.
• Advanced NRP certification (or willingness to obtain before the start date).
• Experience with IV therapy, PICC lines, central lines, UAC/UVC, and neonatal critical care .
• Proficiency in CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, ventilator, and oscillator management .
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient/family education skills.
• Experience using Epic EMR is preferred.
