Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care within a fast-paced hospital setting. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of clinical assessments, interventions, and patient progress.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current state-issued Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrate recent inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience of at least two years.
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS certification required at hire.
• Show competency in dysrhythmia recognition and IV sedation.
• Completion of a Basic Life Support (BLS) course preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
