What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree OR practical supply chain management experience. Core Skills: Solid foundation in supply chain logistics, general accounting concepts, and solid cost-analysis abilities. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort navigating online database systems (MMIS, SharePoint, vendor portals). Work Ethic: solid oral and written communication skills, high sense of urgency, sharp attention to detail, and proven ability to multitask under tight deadlines. Mindset: An inquisitive, self‑motivated nature—eager to ask questions, solve problems, and take full ownership of results. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience or general operational knowledge within a hospital setting (e.g., Operating Room, Cath Lab, or Surgery lines). Order & Work Queue Management: Review daily work queues and place critical orders by the end of each day based on requisition priority. Track orders to ensure timely, accurate delivery. Vendor & Invoice Oversight: Review and negotiate vendor quotes for labor and parts. Audit invoices for accuracy against negotiated rates and clear them for payment within terms. Smart Sourcing & Cost Analysis: Evaluate equipment repair histories and perform cost analyses to decide whether to repair or replace assets. Determine whether to source parts via OEMs or third‑party vendors to maximize value. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for workflow automation (e.g., EDI integration) and proactively educate internal teams to prevent sourcing and billing errors.
