Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)This position is within a 34-bed telemetry unit, dedicated to the care of adult and geriatric patients. The unit specializes in neurology, neurosurgery, and ENT, accommodating patients with various diagnoses including strokes, seizures, dementia, and neuromuscular disorders. Patients may also present with head, neck, and back trauma, as well as elective surgeries related to neurosurgery and ENT.Shift DetailsShift: Night (3x12-Hour) - 19:00 to 07:00Weekend Coverage: RequiredMinimum 2 holidays required per contractQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience requiredExperience with EPIC charting system is compulsoryPreferred experience in trauma level I or IIPrevious charge experience is an assetBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredBSN preferredSkills RequiredAbility to interpret and manage dysrhythmiasExperience in a telemetry unitUnit and Patient Care InformationThe unit supports an interdisciplinary team approach, with services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The average daily census is approximately 30 patients.Orientation and ComplianceOrientation hours: 24Completion of assigned modules during orientation is requiredLocal candidates accepted at the same rate as travelersAdditional InformationCandidates are expected to float within the scope of practice as needed, and compliance with a natural nail policy is required.
